The tradition rich Bellaire Cardinals have one of the top programs in all of high school baseball.
They are in search of a state record breaking 8th title.
The Cardinal players looked on as their opponent (Lamar) warmed up on the diamond. Bellaire went on to win 9-1 to close out the first half of district play. With the win the Cardinals have sole possession of first place.
The highly touted Cardinals flew into this season as the top ranked team in class 5A.
