The 2019 College World Series will kick off Saturday, June 15th and run through the June 26th.
The eleven-day running tournament is double elimination with a winner from each bracket advancing to the championship game where it will play a best of three series to decide the champion.
Two matchups each are slated beginning Saturday and Sunday. No. 9 Texas Tech (44-18) will open the competition when it faces Michigan (46-20) at 2pm, and later, Arkansas will meet Florida State at 7pm. Sunday matchups will watch game 3 as No. 11 Louisville (43-15) vs. Vanderbilt at 2pm and Mississippi State vs. Auburn at 7:30 pm. All games will be played at TD Ameritrade Park in Nebraska.
It’s not difficult to recognize the SEC, known for its football, had a prodigious season on the diamond, grabbing four of the eight spots in the World Series. Arkansas, Auburn, Mississippi State and Vanderbilt all hail from the same conference. The SEC, divided into two sections, sends No. 4 Arkansas (46-18), Auburn (38-26) and No. 5 Mississippi State (51-13) from the SEC West while No. 2 Vanderbilt (54-11) from the SEC East.
All games will be televised on ESPN.
