23-0 in the first 2 ½ Months


Only in their third month of play, the Ballers are striving quick
Success has came quick for the All Star Ballers, a new AAU Basketball team.  In the first two months the teams has compiled a 23-0 record.  The wins have come in huge tournaments played every weekend in addition to some week day games.  Great team work, great attitude  and chemistry are the top ingredients for the Ballers success.
Though they have picked up their second lost of the season this pass Sunday, a 64-54 lost to perennial power Houston Hoops.  Jacobee Conway led the Ballers with 29 points, while going 6-of-8 from behind the arc, teammate Anthony dropped in 19 in the lost.  The only other lost came to Houston Elete.
Players from Booker T. Washington, Eisenhower, DeKaney and Klein Forest make up the Ballers team.
“The things that they do in practice comes out on the court,” said Eddie Davis all Star Ballers Coach.  
Conway chipped in 26 points in a win over Houston Defender in the semifinals which led up the championship game.
“We have a group of guys that hustles real hard and really came together this year for the first time,” said coach Eddie Davis.  “They have been a surprise with the things that they do.  Good team work and great attitude will get them where they need to go. 
Their next game will take place at Legends Gym Saturday in the Woodlands.
