“We knew coming in how athletic they were and the third quarter was completely different, they
pretty much shut us down. I think we had one bucket the entire third quarter. They showed us
what they were made of, they showed us what they were cable of. We had to tie our shoe laces a
little tighter for the fourth quarter, especially at the end. Once they took the lead, I’m not going to
lie. I was concerned and worried,” said Cy-Fair Coach Ann Roubique said.
The mustangs took a 1 point advantage into the final period of play, 36-35 but was unable to make
a shot late in the game though the opportunity presented itself.
bThere is nothing to bring home, better leave it out their. We had to defend we had to switch on
everything and somebody got a finger on the ball and Erica came up with it (the ball) and that’s all I
know,” Coach Ann Roubique said.
