2017 Corky Kell Classic has a lot to offer
With the average high school football season starting near September, it still seems a bit far fetched for die-hard gridiron fans.
If getting an early look at high school football sparks your interest, check out the state of Georgia’s Corky Kell Classic kickoff set for August 17th. It will feature nine games over a three day period.
Though some scheduling issues are apparent for the 2017 MetroPCS Corky Kell Classic but are soon to be worked out. Also tune into Fox Sports South for live action.
The Classic which has existed since 1992, hopes to be moving into the Mercedes-Benz Stadium from last year’s Georgia Dome. It’s the home of the Georgia State University Panthers Football Stadium.
All of the passed Corky Kell Classic games were contested in the
Georgia dome and now are forced to be moved to the new location for a matter of demolition of the dome.
The long running event features some of the state’s top teams yearly. Not to mention some that are annually nationally ranked as well. Archer, Buford, Colquitt County, Mill Creek, McEachern, Norcross, North Gwinnett, and Roswell are no strangers to the national top 100.
Georgia, like California, Florida, Louisiana, Ohio, and Texas, offers some of the best high school football around the country.
Please be advised of the schedule.
