If you are seeking fun and entertainment, head to NRG Stadium for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Several exciting events will take place. Including the Bar-B-Que Contest, Barrel Races, Best Bites Competition, Bronc Riding, Calf Roping, Calf Scramble, carnival, concerts, exhibits, Horse Show, Mutton Races, Petting Zoo, Pig Races, Rodeo Run, Wagon Races, and more.
The 20-day event kicks off on February 27 and runs through March 18th.
Country, R&B, Rock and Spanish music will be on tap at the event. If you have an interest in country music, don’t expect to see Garth Brooks unless you have tickets in advance. Both of his shows are sold out. He opens on the first night of the rodeo and closes on March 18th.
Also, fans can expect to see a new star-shaped stage which should be an excellent attraction along with the new sound effects.
