From Elite eight to Final Four

Kansas, Kentucky, Louisville and Ohio State have all been fitted for next week’s big dance.   In the Midwest, second-seeded Kansas downed top-seeded North Carolina, 80-67.  The Jayhawks (31-6) got 22 points from Tyshawn Taylor to help in the victory over the Tar Heels (32-6).  It’s the first trip back to the final four since winning it in 2008.  They will meet Ohio State, who outlasted top-seeded Syracuse 77-70 in the east.
Jared Sullinger led the Buckeyes with 19 points and 7 rebounds and guard Lenzelle Smith, Jr. added 18.
An emotional moment for Rick Pitino and the fourth-seeded Louisville Cardinals, who had to come from behind to defeat seventh-seeded Florida, 72-68 in the west.
Kentucky (36-2) had the easiest victory of the four qualifiers, defeating Baylor 82-70 while leading by more than 20 points during parts of the game.  The top-seeded Wildcats return to the final four for the second straight year where they will face Louisville.  Michael Kidd-Gilchrist had a game high 19 points while Anthony Davis tossed in 18 with 11 boards for Kentucky.
Baylor finishes its season (30-8).
