Elliott and Bryant spearhead the Lobos offense.
Only up by 3 points, the Langham Creek Lobos broke open a close game in the second half, downing the Jersey Village Falcons 26-7 Friday night at Berry Stadium to keep their playoff hopes alive.
The two quarterback tandem of Cameron Elliott and Will Bryant work like charm. Cameron got the start in the first half while Bryant led the team in the second half.
A balanced offense kept the Falcons honest. They used the short passes, the keeper and the running of Christian Norris.
A long drive to begin the third quarter was snuffed out by the Langham Creek’s defense. Blake Davis picked off Llamas down at the 12 yard line to take away a chance of adding points. But Jersey Village held Creek forcing a punt.
Dylan Munoz 38 yard field goal increased the Lobos lead 13-7.
Penalties and mistakes kept the Falcon from gaining any ground.
A 10 yard punt gave Langham Creek a short field to work with at the Falcon’s 22. Bryant’s 15 yard strike to Juergens took away any thoughts of a comeback.
