National powers schools look to match wits with Texas schools

With the completion of regional competition, the stage is set for the 2012 Red Bull Game Breakers 7-on-7 Tournament championship, which will take place at Jesuit College Preparatory High school in Dallas, on July 12-13.
Normally advancing, are the top two teams from each region, but due to some teams unable to make the trip to Texas, for unspecified reasons, a few changes have been made.

The following have won its respective region, but some want make the trip to Texas.  La Costa Canyon advanced through the San Diego region.  Evangel Christian Academy of Shreveport, Louisiana marks the first non-Texas school to advance through a Texas region by defeating Arlington Sequin 24-5 in the Fort Worth Region Final to earn a spot in Dallas. Because of earlier scheduling conflicts with the New Orleans region, the Eagles made its way to Texas.  Cy-Fair, by winning the Houston qualifiers, is in Dallas for second time since losing in the 2010 final to Louisiana power St. Augustine two years ago.   Rounding out other winners, Stony Point/Austin, Cedar Hill/Dallas, Broken Arrow/Oklahoma, Shawnee Mission West/Kansas City, Chatfield/Denver, Tishomingo/Birmingham.
After some changes, here’s a list of updates.
