Davis force two second half turnovers; Hill wins battle of quarterbacks in directing 4-TD drives

 
Arlington – Watching film early in the morning and after practice has worked well for LB Will Davis, who has the natural instincts to locate the ball. 
A couple of special moments took place Saturday evening at Cowboy Stadium.  One in that junior QB Kenny Hill had his hand in four touchdowns while LB Will Davis forced two turnovers and recovered a game changing fumble to help lead Southlake Carroll to the Class 5A Division I Title with a 36-29 win over Fort Bend Hightower.  
The victory gave the Dragon’s (16-0) its eighth title in the school’s history, the first since 2006, which tied Celina for the most, in the state.  The lost for Hightower, snapped an 11-game winning streak dating back to week two where it loss to Eisenhower 56-49.
With 9:49 left, defensive MVP Will Davis, who led the defense with eight tackles, striped Hurricane’s WR Ryan Nelson of the ball, and recovered it at the Hightower 30. 
Offensive MVP Kenny Hill Led Southlake Carroll on 19-of-24 passing for 229 yards with 2-TDs while carrying 24 times for 116 yards and 2-TDs.  WR Sabian Holmes caught 11 receptions for 138 yards and a TD.
The Dragon’s offense totaled 422 yards compared to 374 for Hightower.
