Dominic Bailey showed he’s equipped to compete on both offense and defense. “It’s sweet, and I love it on defense,” Bailey said.
The talented tight end/linebacker not only blocks well but has the eyes and hands to reel in the ball downfield. However, defense might be where Bailey plays on the next level. He possesses the ability to lay the lumber and find the ball, as displayed in Westfield’s 37-10 defeat of Strake Jesuit College Preparatory on Friday night at Clay Stadium.
While the defense held the Crusaders at bay, quarterback Cardell Williams led Westfield’s offense, passing for 336 yards on 19-of-31 attempts, four touchdowns, and one interception to bolster the offense.
