Michigan held a 30-point lead with 10:31 left in the game. The Wolverines excelled in the paint, scoring 36 points and successfully making 12 three-pointers.

Aday Mara scored 26 points and collected nine rebounds, guiding Michigan. Trey McKenney added 16 points, and Elliot Cadeau contributed 13 points along with 10 assists.

All-American forward Yaxel Lendeborg suffered a left ankle and knee injury during the first half but returned in the second half, scoring 11 points. He rolled his ankle and twisted his knee when he landed on Arizona’s center Motiejus Krivas’s foot while penetrating towards the rim.

Arizona encountered difficulties as it struggled to navigate through the larger Wolverines.
