In its ten-year history, the Texans will attempt to improve its record to 5-0 for the first time in franchise history when it faces off with the New York Jets (2-2) at MetLife Stadium in New York on Monday night in a live telecast game on ESPN.
Undefeated this late in the season puts the Texans in unfamiliar territory.  However, it gives Houston a chance to see where it stands with the league’s power teams.   Not saying that the Jets will or want be a measuring stick.  
 
During its history, the Texans have battled through many of the same issues other NFL teams have.  Such as, quarterback problems, building a defense and loosing late game leads.  But Coach Gary Kubiak who took over as head coach on January 26, 2006, have worked eagerly since taking over.  Building a foundation while watching the pieces of puzzle come together has been a long awaited site for the fans of Houston to experience. 
 
The Texans continue to build on last season’s 10-6 record, the best in the franchise history which included two rounds of the playoffs before falling to Baltimore Ravens 20-13.  But this year’s team hopes to be different.
