Over the years, fans have waited three to four rounds of the playoffs before seeing intriguing matchups. However, this season the wait ends Friday.
Many teams will see its season end this weekend, but only after fans get an eye full of competitive action.
Here are a few games to monitor. In Class 6A Region I, Arlington Martin/Lewisville will tee up on Friday. In Class 6A Region II, the Klein schools jump in action as Klien Cain takes on the Woodlands, and Klein Collins will meet long-time rival Spring Westfield. Also, in Class 6A Region 4, Austin Lake Travis vs. undefeated Cibolo Steele could draw interest.
The Metroplex should see its share of exciting games when Denton Guyer faces Highland Park and DeSoto take the field against Rockwell-Heath.
