The 11th Annual FSN Southwest 7 on 7 State Championships

College Station – There was plenty to talk about at the 11th Annual FSN
Southwest 7 on 7 State.
Championships in College Station. With party cloudy skies and the sun
peaking out every so often. Fans and spectators gathered under tents, some in
lawn chairs while others stood. They shared there thoughts to one another
about players and teams.
Players came from all around Texas to show case there skills. Some worked on
areas that needed improvements, chemistry, timing, and execution. There were
high fling acrobatic catches, quarterbacks drilling balls up and down the field
and defensive players making great stops.
There was no shortage of D 1 talent on the campus of Texas A&M. Some who
have verberally committed and others who havenbt. Such names are Jasperbs
QB Dominique Bailey, WR Kwame Spikes, Abilenebs LB Chris Williams,
Arlington Bowiebs dual threat QB Christian Matthews, Arlingtonbs RB Jamal
Nero, LB Keighan Thetford, Arlington Martinbs CB, S Grant Thorsen, CB

Claybon. Just to name a few.
Langham Creek was edged out by Abilene 34-33 for the consolation title while
Richland capped the day beating Mesquite for the state title 35-32.
Another year of 7 on 7 is in the books, up next football season.
