Week 10 unfolds with eight ranked teams tumbling in the college football top 25 rankings

Georgia preserves the top spot after a weekend filled with upsets in the college football’s top 25 rankings. The Bulldogs thumped Missouri 43-6 on Saturday as it continues to hold a firm grip on its ranking.

No. 3 Michigan State became the highest-ranked team to fall. The Boilermakers, who recorded its 17th win over a top-five team, leads the NCAA with the most of its kind.

Perdue led Michigan State, who last week defeated its archrival Michigan, 37-33, all game while eradicating a pair of comeback attempts. Michigan State trailed 28-21 before the Boilermakers used field goal to expand its lead, 31-21 in the third quarter, and later halted the Spartans final rally cry, up, 37-29 by putting the game on ice, 40-29.

The No. 9 Demon Deacons lost an 18-point lead as it fell, 58-56 to North Carolina.

Other ranked teams include No. 12 Baylor, losing 30-28 to TCU, Illinois knocked off No. 20 Minnesota, Arkansas defeated No. 17 Mississippi State, Tennessee beat No. 18 Kentucky, and Boise State toppled Fresno State, 40-14.

No. 14 Texas A&M got a massive effort from its defense to upend SEC foe and No. 13 Auburn, 20-3.
