Competition is second nature to the Lancaster Tiger Girls Track and Field Team. In its last meet of the season, it took home the Class 5A team title Friday night at Mike A. Meyers Stadium.
For Lancaster, its a sweet ending to an ultra-competitive season. It endured head to head action competing against rival DeSoto, surrounding Metroplex area schools, Houston area, and national powers. The Tigers have seen it’s fair share of competition this season. The title marks its 12th.
