Bama tops College Football Rankings

 
Alabama gets the early nod for the top spot on the 2013 Odums and Smith Sports Highlights Top 25 College Football Rankings.  Mainly for producing the nation’s top recruiting class.  The two-time defending champs are followed by Stanford, Ohio State, Texas A&M and Georgia to round out the top five.  
College football strongest conference, the SEC leads the rankings with eight teams which include Alabama, Clemson, Florida, Georgia, LSU, South Carolina, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt followed by the Big 12’s five which edged out the Big Ten and Pac 12 who landed four teams each.
